Description

High Torque Starter for MG Midget A-Series, Austin Healey Sprite models, Austin A40 Farina, Morris Minor and Rover A Series. All models up to 1275cc. Direct Replacement For Original. Strong, powerful, offset gear-reduced starter motor, delivering huge cranking torque through a set of steel internal gears. Lightweight, compact and durable this unit starts the engine faster with immense power, whilst drawing less current from the battery. Spigot diameter 3.5″ (89mm), 5″ (127mm) bolt centres, 29mm gear diameter.

Please note that the RAC403 must be wired using the existing bulkhead (remote) mounted solenoid as the switch. This unit is a direct replacement for the original inertia starter motor but does not fit rubber bumper MG Midget with 1500 engine. Please see RAC414.
